Ignis Volcano is a massive and storied volcano on the MU Continent, once home to the mighty red dragon Ignis and a grand temple built in the dragon's honor. For a time, harmony existed between Ignis and the people who worshipped it, creating a sacred and prosperous relationship at the heart of the volcano. The volcano itself served as the source of the burning fires that fuel Vulcanus, the underground realm below. However, sinister influences from the underground arena slowly began to corrupt the people, turning them against the very dragon they once revered. A squad was formed with the sole purpose of defeating Ignis, and the confrontation that followed ended in tragedy — the great red dragon, rather than fall at the hands of those it once lived alongside, chose to take its own life. The aftermath was catastrophic. The volcano erupted with devastating force, causing widespread destruction across the surrounding land. Over time, the volcano became accessible once more, but the peace it once knew is long gone. Today, Ignis Volcano is inhabited by fearsome gladiators and demons covered in magma, risen from the depths of the underground Vulcanus — a dark reminder of the tragedy that unfolded within its ancient walls.
