MU Online Season 14 introduced the Rune Wizard as the game's 9th playable class, bringing a staff-wielding magic character with powerful area-of-effect skills and a unique 4th Class Change quest. The season added the Cubera Mine map, the Guardian System with the first Guardian slot, the Atlans Abyss elite zone, and the 1st and 2nd Mastery Earrings. Released across four parts from November 2018 to June 2019, Season 14 also brought 4th and 5th Mastery Weapons, Mastery Armor tiers, and a full Summoner Renewal.

What is the Rune Wizard class in Season 14?
The Rune Wizard is MU Online's 9th playable character class, introduced in Season 14 Part 1-1. It is a magic-based character that wields staffs and uses rune-inscribed spells for powerful area-of-effect and single-target damage. The 4th Class Change and Skill Enhancement Tree were added in Part 1-2, with exclusive Mastery Weapons, Armor, and 4th Wings also arriving in that update. The Rune Wizard received a full class renewal in Season 20 Part 2-1.
What is the Guardian System introduced in Season 14?
The Guardian System is a companion system introduced in Season 14 Part 2-2 that allows players to summon a Guardian creature to fight alongside their character. Each Guardian provides passive stat bonuses and active combat assistance. The first Guardian slot was introduced in Season 14, with additional Guardian tiers added in subsequent seasons — reaching the 7th Guardian (Taurus) by Season 20 Part 2-3.
What new maps were added in Season 14?
Season 14 added two new maps: Cubera Mine, introduced in Part 1-2 as a mid-level hunting zone with Rune Wizard-relevant monster drops; and Atlans Abyss, added in Part 2-1 as a hunting zone and expanded with an Elite Zone in Part 2-2 alongside the Guardian System launch.
